- EXCLUSIVE with Graeme Bailey
West Ham are now in talks with Manchester United about a signing – as Leny Yoro heads to Old Trafford for a medical.
The Lille No.15 is finalising a move to Manchester United after the Red Devils had a £52m bid accepted, although that major development has not stopped Erik ten Hag’s side from focusing on outgoings as well.
So, who are West Ham now in talks to sign from Manchester United? Let’s take a look…
West Ham in talks to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United
TBR Football have now been told that West Ham are in talks to sign Manchester United No.29 Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Sources have informed us that the Hammers were speaking to Southampton about a deal for Kyle Walker-Peters, but after failing to reach an agreement with the Saints, attentions are now turning towards the Manchester United right-back.
TBR Football understand that Ten Hag is happy to keep Wan-Bissaka at Old Trafford, as the Dutchman recognises the Londoner’s immense defensive abilities.
However, Manchester United are still open to a sale if the price is right, as the 26-year-old earns a handsome salary which the Red Devils would be happy to remove from the wage bill.

Wan-Bissaka is believed to earn £100,000-a-week at Manchester United.
TBR Football have also been told that the Red Devils will look to sign a new right-back to compete with Diogo Dalot if the Crystal Palace academy graduates leaves this summer.
Wan-Bissaka made 30 appearances in all competitions last season, helping Manchester United win the FA Cup.
Red Devils will actually want to keep price below £50m
While Manchester United are highly unlikely to recoup the £50m spent to sign Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace in June 2019 this summer, those at Old Trafford are minded to keep the fee below that figure anyway.

A story from the BBC claims that Crystal Palace caused delays to that deal back in 2019 after deciding to negotiate a late sell-on clause in the agreement, which entitles the south Londoners to 10% of the cash if Manchester United sell Wan-Bissaka for over £50m.
Ultimately – while our sources have not mentioned any potential transfer fee as of now – we highly doubt it will be anywhere close to £50m, meaning Manchester United will most likely be able to keep the entire sum.
