West Ham have reportedly hit a problem in their pursuit of signing a Premier League player this summer.
The Irons are hard at work trying to get as many deals through the front as possible before the start of the new season, with West Ham closing in on Niclas Fullkrug in a deal that could be one of the most impressive of the entire summer.
With West Ham also bidding for Youssouf Fofana, it’s clear that the Hammers are ready to make a number of statement signings this window having already paid £40m to sign Wolves defender Max Kilman.
Yet one deal for a rumoured target could be about to hit a potential roadblock.

West Ham struggling to agree personal terms with Aaron Wan-Bissaka
According to the Sun’s Jack Rosser, West Ham are closing in on a deal with Manchester United for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, though the defender is yet to reach an agreement on personal terms with the east London side.
Rosser wrote: “West Ham close to agreeing Aaron Wan-Bissaka deal, but personal terms not yet agreed. Wan-Bissaka having one year left means he could run down contract and get big wages in a year’s time.”
Noted by the Coaches’ Voice as a ‘powerful’ defender, the 26-year-old right-back has been linked with a move to the Irons for quite some time, with West Ham reviving their interest in Wan-Bissaka at the start of the summer as the fullback prepares to leave Old Trafford.
Yet with the two parties yet to agree on personal terms, it could be a while before the former Crystal Palace star heads back to the English capital to join up with West Ham at the London Stadium.

Wan-Bissaka could be a perfect fit for the Irons next season
Premier League fans are aware just how good Wan-Bissaka can be when in the right system and surrounded by the right players, something the defender never really had during his time at United.
Yet at West Ham, the fullback could return to his best if given the freedom to do what he excels at and to make the right-hand side of the defence as watertight as possible for the east London side.
Indeed, West Ham are going for ambition in this summer’s market, and signing Wan-Bissaka would meet that goal and then some, with the fullback destined to return to his best once free of the shadow of United.
