West Ham United have enjoyed a brilliant summer on the transfer front, with six signings over the line and a seventh on the way.
The Hammers hit the ground running early on in the summer window with the signings of Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman.
West Ham then doubled their tally early on in August as they bought Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug, as well as signing Guido Rodriguez on a free.
Then came one of the biggest transfer hijacking stories in recent years, as the Hammers sealed a deal for Jean-Clair Todibo from under the noses of Juventus.
Better still, West Ham don’t seem to be done yet. Fabrizio Romano has shared an update about another transfer the Hammers could now be close to sealing.

West Ham optimistic of Aaron Wan-Bissaka deal
In recent weeks, West Ham have been in pursuit of Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Although the Hammers have been busy getting other deals over the line, the Wan-Bissaka lead was always there in the background.
And on Friday evening, Romano provided positive updates on that front, saying West Ham are confident of getting a deal done.
In wake of the Todibo news, the transfer insider urged fans to keep an eye out on the Wan-Bissaka front.
Just over two hours later, Romano said West Ham now hope to complete a deal for the Red Devils ace in the coming days, after wrapping up the Todibo deal.
West Ham having a superb transfer window
West Ham fans will no doubt be buzzing over how their club is doing on the transfer front this summer.
The Hammers had a good squad at the end of the season, but with these great additions, they’re set to have a great squad by deadline day.
Wan-Bissaka is an especially exciting proposition in claret and blue.
The 26-year-old is talented, experienced, fast, and notoriously difficult to get past when it comes to one-on-ones.
Former Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer once called Wan-Bissaka “one of the best one-against-one defensive full-backs in the world”.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur’s James Maddison deemed him “probably the best in the world bar none” when it comes to one-on-one defending.
West Ham look set for a great weekend, with more signings on the cards. At this point, the start of the season can’t arrive fast enough for Hammers fans.
