West Ham United are staking an early claim for the Premier League side to have had the best summer transfer window.
The Hammers have officially signed six players to date, with a seventh on the way, and it doesn’t look as though they’re done yet.
West Ham hit the ground running when the transfer window opened, signing Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman.
Then, early in August, the Hammers got three more signings done in quick succession, as Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez joined.
Now, Jean-Clair Todibo is set to be the next player announced by West Ham, who swooped for him from under the noses of Juventus.
Fabrizio Romano has now reported on who the “next one” will be for the east Londoners once they wrap up the signing of the Frenchman.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka ‘next’ up for West Ham
Romano, taking to X on Saturday morning, claimed that Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be next up for West Ham.
West Ham set to strike bargain deal for Wan-Bissaka
West Ham have been in talks over Wan-Bissaka for a number of weeks now, and while other transfers were sealed, this one was always in the background.
Now, this deal looks set to take centre stage, and the Hammers will be getting themselves an outstanding player should they get it over the line.
Wan-Bissaka’s one-on-one defending abilities have been described as world-class by the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and James Maddison.
Meanwhile, talkSPORT’s Micky Gray previously described the reported West Ham target as “absolutely fantastic”.
Better still, the Hammers look set to sign Wan-Bissaka for a bargain price.
A fee of around £15-18million has been mentioned for a player who the Red Devils signed in a deal totalling £50million in 2019 (BBC Sport).
