West Ham United have been incredibly busy on the transfer front this summer, with eight new signings over the line already.

The Hammers hit the ground running in the window as they wrapped up the signings of Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman early on.

Then, early in August, West Ham got three more signings done, as Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez all arrived at the London Stadium.

The Hammers have since signed two more players, landing Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United.

Wan-Bissaka is latest to arrive at the London Stadium, joining this week for £15million and penning a seven-year deal, according to Sky Sports News.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka peers react to his West Ham move

The 27-year-old took to social media after making the move, with a post for Man United fans and one for West Ham supporters.

In the latter, Wan-Bissaka wrote: “A new home. Let’s go Hammers! Excited to get going.”

The likes of Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Elanga and Ian Maatsen all wished Wan-Bissaka well in the comments section.

Fernandes wrote “London ain’t ready for the spider”, Elanga put “it’s time bro!” and Maatsen wrote “congrats bro”.

As for the Man United-angled post, Wan-Bissaka wrote: “To everyone associated with Manchester United, thank you.

“You’ve helped me fulfil so many dreams of mine and I leave the club with memories to last me a lifetime.

“I’m so grateful for the love, help and support I’ve had from players and staff during the last 5 years and wish you all nothing but the best.

“Thank you to the fans, you’ve stuck by us throughout the ups and downs. Appreciate you. Thank you so much, Reds.”

Fernandes, Elanga, Amad Diallo, Mason Mount, Eric Bailly, Kobbie Mainoo, Wilfried Zaha, Jason Sancho and Donny van de Beek were among those who responded with love.

Where West Ham could finish in the Premier League this season

West Ham director Tim Steidten deserves huge credit for his work on the transfer front this summer.

The Hammers had a strong enough squad going into the close season, but with the reinforcements they’ve made, they look like they can really go far.

West Ham failed to qualify for Europe last season following three consecutive campaigns in a row, all of which were memorable.

With Wan-Bissaka and all the other new recruits, West Ham will fancy their chances of getting back into Europe next year.
