West Ham United have a real strong argument to make that they have won the transfer window this summer.
The Hammers have done some remarkable business in this transfer window, landing the likes of Max Kilman, Crysencio Summerville and Jean-Clair Todibo.
West Ham have completely reshaped their squad after hiring Julen Lopetegui.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has also arrived at the London Stadium this summer, and according to Dean Jones, speaking on the Chasing Green Arrows Podcast, people within West Ham are very excited about the addition of Wan-Bissaka.
Indeed, Jones says that people at West Ham believe Wan-Bissaka will prove to be a very underrated signing.
What West Ham think about Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Jones shared what he’s been hearing about the right-back.
“I was speaking to someone yesterday, just to find out about West Ham’s plans. Wan-Bissaka, they love it, he said honestly, people won’t realise how good Wan-Bissaka ends up being as a signing because of the style of play they are going to impose and what Wan-Bissaka adds to it. That’s quite interesting,” Jones said.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has the ability
West Ham believe they have made a really underrated signing in the shape of Wan-Bissaka, and they’re not wrong.
Indeed, while it’s been a while, we mustn’t forget how good Wan-Bissaka can be when he’s playing at his best.
Wan-Bissaka earned plaudits at times during his spell at Manchester United.
There’s a reason Manchester United once paid £50m for the right-back.
Wan-Bissaka, at one point, was seen as one of the most promising full-backs in the Premier League, and while a move to United didn’t quite suit him, he could easily rediscover his best form at West Ham.
At just £15m, Wan-Bissaka could be one of the signings of the summer if he can rediscover the form that initially made him a star at Crystal Palace all those years ago.
West Ham have had a fantastic transfer window, and Wan-Bissaka could prove to be one of their best buys.
