Both Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes were left extremely impressed with one Manchester United player vs Liverpool yesterday.
Whilst it looked for a long while that Erik ten Hag and his side would suffer heartache in their pursuit of a trip to Wembley yesterday evening, they eventually found a way to win.

It was definitely something of a gamble when Ten Hag appeared to abandon all idea of defending with his attacking substitutions late on, but ultimately Amad Diallo did make the difference.
Man United will certainly need a lot more of these kinds of results and performances to mark a new era under Ten Hag, but the win should certainly relieve any pressure for now.
That being said, it will have also been redeeming for United to recover several players from injury yesterday.
All of Rasmus Hojlund, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Mason Mount returned to make minutes, with the first two names starting.
And whilst fans would have been delighted to see Hojlund return, who doesn’t have an obvious alternative, Wan-Bissaka’s readiness could also prove a huge boost.
Playing at left-back yesterday, the £45m-defender did impress at times.

Following his return for United yesterday, Wan-Bissaka did take to Instagram after the game to celebrate.
The defender uploaded a collection of four photos from United’s 4-3 win over Liverpool yesterday with the caption: “Until the end…what a game man. See you at Wembley.”

And given Wan-Bissaka had missed over two months with his latest injury, his United teammates were understandably delighted to see him return.
Bruno Fernandes left a comment saying: “Thanks for today spider the rest I already told you.”
Whereas Jadon Sancho, who is now thriving out on loan at Borussia Dortmund, simply left some celebratory emojis.

It was certainly a good day for Man United fans against Liverpool yesterday, and they’ll now be willing club football to return following the international break.
Perhaps some are still disappointed that they won’t see Kobbie Mainoo in an England shirt this week, although it seems caution may pay dividends in the long run.
That being said, Jurgen Klopp did share a nice moment with the young midfield maestro yesterday.
